Talented performers from throughout the Tri-state area come to the Ringgold Opry to share in the legacy of traditional acoustic music. All the "pickin" takes place every Saturday night at 7:30 pm, rain or shine, on stage at the Ringgold Depot. Award winning fiddler, singer and actor Randall Franks (left), known to millions as "Officer Randy Goode" on TV's "In the Heat of the Night," often appears on stage at the Ringgold Opry. Two-time Old Time Banjo Player of the Year and SPBGMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Gary Waldrep also performs here. This historic depot was built in 1850 as a rail link between Atlanta and Chattanooga, TN.
